Well…. Where should I start?

I AM SEVENTEEN! Can you believe that? Neither can I.

So I’ve been on this 365-Days-Trip Around the Sun for the 17^thtime. Means..I have spent how many hundred days living on this planet Earth?You do the math.

Actually, to be completely honest, I don’t wanna get anyolder. I want to be forever young. No, not that childish, kind of young. Iwanna be a young kid, who sees the world in such a simple way. Dance in therain. Run with the wind. Paint rainbows. Chase the stars. Life is an adventure.

(Do I start to sound like a TV commercial? Okay I’m sosorry. Gonna stop that right here)

It’s not the wrinklesor how will I look when I’m a granny that terrifies me. To get older, but nonethe wiser. It is terrifying. Getting older and forget how to laugh. That onesounds even more terrifying. I don’t wanna have any more problems that willstress me out. Adults, they whine, groan, angry, and snore.

But that’s how life is. If I’m not growing, then I’m notliving. If I don’t want to grow maybe I could just turn myself into a rock, ora bookshelf, or other un-living things. But fortunately, I don’t want to be arock. I still wanna be a human, with its plus and minus (‘cause there won’t beany Plus if Minus doesn’t exist). I’llgrow on my way. I can be an adult with a young-mind inside, rite? (Again, not achildish, kind of young. Got what I mean?)

To be born as a human, it’s a gift that I should be gratefulof. To be given the opportunity to live for the past seventeen years, I shouldbe thanking God. So I’m gonna live the life joyfully, and be the best that Ican be.

Some people call this moment as a Sweet Seventeen. You knowwhat, it’s overrated. Being seventeen isn’t that sweet. It’s more like a wakeup call. Wake up! Grow up! Wise up! Chin up!

Hi-ho! It’s been quite a while since I last literally wrote something on this blog. So here I am, my fingers are ready to press the keyboard’s buttons and type what my brain tells these fingers to.

First thing first, here's a good news from Lomography Society Indonesia. They're holding a Lomo Blog Competition with La Sardina pattern edition as its prize! Sounds great, aye? Now I'm taking this chance, crossing my fingers, and wishing that I could be one of the winner.

As (probably) most of you have already known, a few months ago Lomography released their super duper magnificent product called La Sardina. And even better, they also released the patterned edition of it.

These beautiful babies come in four patterns named Cubic, Domino, Mobius, and Quadrat. The Quadrat and Cubic editions also come with their own matching Fritz the Blitz flash. OMG I think it’s the most unique camera flash I’ve ever seen in my entire life :-O (this may sound a lil dramatic but believe me it’s true).

Each camera is completed with some extra-ordinary features like a mind-blowing wide-angle lens, MX switch for easy multiple exposures and B Setting for long exposures.

It does, of course, produce beautiful photos (well, the beauty of taken-with-LOMO photos are undeniable, rite?) and sold in a quite affordable price. Interested to play around with these lovely cameras? You can grab it quickly by simply go to LOMONESIA’s site or you can also directly come to their shop.

I know that this kind of camera doesn’t have lots of features like the digital ones do. But I think photos that are taken with LOMO cameras are so unique and extra-ordinary. And the designs of the cameras are uber cool and make it worth to be bought. Maybe some people say that it’s a digital-era and analogue is so two-thousand-late. Well, you know what? The future itself is analogue! :-D

Adalah suatu keberuntungan buat saya sampai akhirnya bisa ikut berpartisipasi di dalam acara yang baru pertama kali diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah ini. Bayangkan saja, acara dimulai pada hari kamis, 22 September dan satu hari sebelumnya, hari Rabu, teman saya baru menawari saya untuk mengikuti acara menginap selama lima hari itu karena orang yang sebelumnya akan mewakili sekolah saya ternyata tidak bisa hadir.

Tanpa pikir panjang, saya menyetujui tawaran dari teman saya tersebut karena saya rasa acara semacam ini akan memberikan banyak hal positif dan nggak ada salahnya buat dicoba. Padahal, sebetulnya ketika itu saya sama sekali nggak tau apa-apa tentang Jejak Tradisi Nasional (Jetranas) ini. Yang saya tau hanyalah acaraa ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kebudayaan betawi, lalu menginap lima hari di TMII, pesertanya berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, ada lomba karya tulis di dalamnya, dan yang paling penting: gratis.

Maka berangkatlah saya dengan empat orang teman saya yang lainnya; Lita, Abrar, Hasan, dan Kalih serta pak Trisna sebagai guru pembimbing.

Begitu tiba di sana, saya mulai minder melihat anak-anak dari daerah lain. Ternyata, peserta dari daerah yang bisa dibilang jauh dari Jakarta adalah peserta-peserta terpilih yang sebelumnya telah mengikuti Jetrada (jejak tradisi daerah) di daerahnya masing-masing. Saya, yang sama sekali gak bisa menari tarian tradisional, baca puisi, menyanyi, bahkan membuat karya tulis pun saya belum pernah, merasa kurang percaya diri. Untungnya semua anak di sana ramah dan terbuka sehingga rasa minder yang saya rasakan dapat teratasi.

Mata acara demi mata acara saya ikuti, dan lama kelamaan saya mulai merasa betah berada di lingkungan yang beragam ini. Senang sekali rasanya bisa berkenalan dengan anak-anak dari hampir seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Bisa bertukar cerita, dan juga bisa belajar bahasa-bahasa daerah dari mereka secara langsung.

Judul dari post ini sendiri saya ketahui dari Theo dan Jodie yang berasal dari Ambon. Katong batamang sampai tua artinya adalah kita berteman sampai tua. Selain itu saya juga belajar sedikit bahasa Bugis dari Rahmat yang berasal dari Sengkang, Sulawesi Selatan. Saya juga mendapat kesempatan untuk bertemu kak Aliah yang datang dari Kalimantan dan Ina yang berasal dari Aceh. Bahkan, Alex yang berasal dari Papua juga mengikuti acara ini.

Slogan bhineka tunggal ika sangat terasa dan semakin saya percaya. Saya semakin yakin bahwa orang-orang Indonesia bisa bersatu dan membawa negara ini menjadi negara yang lebih maju. Karena mau putih atau hitam, Jawa ataupun Padang,Sabang maupun Merauke, kita semua lahir di tanah yang sama, katong samua basodara.

Lima hari yang kami lewatkan bersama berlalu dengan sangat cepat sekali, bahkan rasanya saya belum ingin pulang ke rumah dan masih ingin menghabiskan waktu bersama semua anak-anak Jetranas. Sekarang, walaupun semuanya sudah kembali ke rumah masing-masing, kami masih tetap menjalin hubungan baik melalui jejaring sosial ataupun saluran telepon. Saya harap suatu saat kita bisa berkumpul lagi dan yang jelas, katong batamang sampai tua.

I'm in the middle of computer class rite now, dan gue akan menjelaskan tentang fasilitas-fasilitas yang ada di dalam internet dan beberapa hal lainnya.

Kalian semua pasti tau kalau ada banyak sekali fasilitas-fasilitas yang dapat kita temukan di internet. Sekarang, gue akan mencoba untuk menjelaskan tiga diantaranya.

World Wide Web (www) atau lebih dikenal sebagai web adalah suatu fasilitas yang berisi database terdistribusi. Kita bisa mengakses berbagai macam hal. Mulai dari teks, film, suara, gambar, maupun animasi multimedia. Misalnya, kalau kita mau baca tentang berita-berita terkini, kamubisa mengakses (http://www.detik.com)

Toko Online. Buat kalian yang suka belanja, dengan adanya fasilitas Toko Online di internet ini kamu tidak perlu repot lagi pergi ke mall atau ke toko baju karena semua barang yang ingin dibeli sudah tersedia online. Tidak hanya baju, toko online juga menjual berbagai barang lainnya seperti buku, sepatu, tas, aksesoris, atau bahkan mobil dan hewan peliharaan.

Tentunya ini akan sangat memudahkan kita semua dalam membeli sesuatu karena yang kita perlu lakukan hanyalah mengakses internet, memilih barang yang akan kita beli, lalu mengontak si penjual dan melakukan transaksi (transaksi biasanya dilakukan melalui transfer lewat rekening atau pembayaran dengan kartu kredit). Kita hanya tinggal menunggu beberapa hari, lalu *poof* barang yang kita inginkan akan sampai di rumah kita.

Toko Online bisa ditemukan di beberapa website seperti Kaskus, Multiply, Facebook, ataupun website si toko itu sendiri.

Blog. Nah, kalau yang satu ini, kalian semua pasti sudah tidak asing lagi. Apa yang sedang kalian buka sekarang ini disebut blog. Blog biasanya berisi tentang pengalaman atau carita-cerita hidup seseorang, namun bisa juga berisi tentang berbagai informasi yang ingin di-share oleh pemilik blog.

Salah satu contoh blog yang sudah terkenal dan sukses adalah fashion blog Hot Chocolate and Mint milik Diana Rikasari. Diana menunjukkan gaya berpakaiannya dalam post yang ada di blognya. Ia berhasil menarik banyak pengunjung karena keunikan yang ditunjukkan di setiap post yang ia tulis.

Itu tadi beberapa fasilitas yang bisa kita temukan di internet. Selain tiga hal diatas tadi, apalagi sih yang bisa kita lakukan dengan internet? Kalau buat gue, salah satu hal yang paling menguntungkan dari kehadiran internet adalah kita bisa mengirim e-mail.

E-mail, atau electronic mail dapat kita gunakan untuk berkomunikasi. Jadi gak perlu ribet lagi kan pergi ke kantor pos, tulis surat, dan beli perangko. Dengan e-mail, pesan yang ingin kita sampaikan bisa dikirim dan diterima dengan cepat. Ke luar kota, maupun ke luar negeri. Dan itu semua gratis. God bless the inventor of e-mail :-B

Selain berkirim pesan, di internet kita juga bisa berdiskusi. Berdiskusi bisa dilakukan dengan mailing list maupun forum diskusi. perbedaan yang terletak pada mailing list dan forum diskusi adalah sarana yang digunakan. Mailing list menggunakan sarana e-mail sedangkan forum diskusi menggunakan sarana web.

Kali ini gue kembali dengan sebuah postingan yang berbeda dari biasanya. Super berbeda.

Mungkin akan terlihat sedikit janggal, mengingat sebelumnya gue belum pernah nge-post tentang sesuatu yang berbobot –sebuah post yang membahas tentang ilmu pengetahuan. Jadi harap maklum ya, kalau ada kejanggalan bahasa dan kejanggalan-kejanggalan lainnya.

Internet adalah sebuah kata yang sudah tidak asing lagi terdengar di telinga kita. Di era modern seperti sekarang ini, siapapun, tanpa terkecuali, bisa dengan mudah mengakses internet. Mulai dari anak-anak kecil hingga kakek dan nenek.

Kalau waktu gue kecil dulu gue biasanya mengisi waktu luang dengan main karet, main gundu, atau main petak umpet, anak-anak yang lahir di zaman modern ini–adek gue, misalnya–udah gak perlu repot pergi ke luar rumah dan takut kulitnya menghitam terkena panas matahari karena yang perlu mereka lakukan hanyalah duduk di depan komputer dan main Pet Society atau ratusan bahkan ribuan game lainnya yang tersedia online.

Ibu gue pun merasakan kehebatan dari si Internet ini. Setelah mendaftarkan dirinya di sebuah jejaring sosial (kita sebut saja Pesbuk), Ibu bisa bertemu lagi dengan teman-teman lamanya. Mulai dari teman SD, SMP, maupun SMA yang tentunya kalau tanpa internet gak akan semudah itu bisa ditemukan.

Nah, untuk merasakan semua kemahadahsyatan si Internet itu, tentunya kita membutuhkan beberapa perangkat untuk menghubungkan kita dengan akses internet. Di sini gue bakal menjelaskan beberapa perangkat keras yang dibutuhkan untuk mengakses internet.

Tiga perangkat utama yang penting, yang gue rasa gak perlu gue jelasin lagi satu-satu (kalau kurang jelas tanya aja sama mbah Gugel hehe), adalah ini:

Komputer, modem (Modulator Demodulator), dan saluran telepon.

Selain ketiga perangkat utama di atas ada juga beberapa perangkat keras pendukung akses internet. Antara lain:

Hub merupakan perangkat keras yang digunakan untuk menggabungkan beberapa computer. Hub menjadi saluran koneksi sentral untuk semua computer dalam jaringan. Hub dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu, active hub merupkan sebuah repeater elektrik yang dilenggkapi dengan 8 konektor yang berfungsi untuk membentuk sinyal digital yang dikirim dan menyesuaikan impedensinya untuk memelihara data sepanjang jalur yang dilaluinya, yang kedua adalah passive hub merupakan sebuah repeater elektrik yang memiliki 4 konektor yang berfungsi untuk menerima sinyal pada salah satu konektor dan meneruskannya pada tiga konektor lain.

Repeater merupakan perangkat yang digunakan untuk menerima sinyal dan memancarkan kembali sinyal tersebut dengan kekuatan yang sama dengan sinyal asli, singkatnya repeater berfungsi untuk menguatkan sinyal agar sinyal dikirim sama dengan sinyal aslinya.

Bridge merupakan perangkat lunak menghubungkan dua buah jaringan secara fisik yang menggunakan protocol sama/sejenis. Dengan bridge sebuah paket data mampu dikirim dari satu LAN ke LAN lain.

Router merupakan perangkat yang berfungsi hampir sama dengan bridge. Namun perangkat ini punya keunggulan selain untuk menghubungkan dua buah LAN dengan tipe sama, router juga bisa untuk menghubungkjan dua buah LAN dengan tipe berbeda.

Well… haha. Meskipun isi post-yang-sepertinya-sih-agak-lumayan-berbobot ini akan berakhir sampai di sini dan gue gak yakin kalau gue bakalan nge-post sesuatu yang semacam ini lagi, it’s great to see you again, Bloggie!

Ahoy!

It's been a rilly long time, eh? I know you're missing me, Bloggie. I do miss you too. It's the time and some things and some stuffs that made me neglect you for more than a month. You will forgive me, won't you?

Hum hum hum I hate to say this but life moves pretty fast. Like, in the blink of an eye a year's just passed. I'm no longer a tenth grade student. I'm turning to Seventeen. Soon I'll be going to college. And so on, and so on.

Oh hey, I started to ramble. We'd better move the subject.

Rite now I'm kind of interested on this interior-design-and-architecture-thingy and been thinking about being an interior designer or maybe an architect someday. Cause I think good rooms make a good house, and a good house makes a good life. So I've been browsing for some building and interior design inspiration ever since and one day I found this:

A Pirate Ship in a bedroom. A-w-e-s-o-m-e.

I'd be the luckiest girl in the world if I had a room as amazing as that. I can picture my self being a pirate and some of my friends will sail with me with the ship and they'll shout 'Aye, aye, Captain!'. It's gonna be funnn.

Aha, I'll create a unique bedroom like this for my kids in the future. Yeah I will. For now, am just gonna study hard till I reached the aim to work on something that I love. To catch that dream; be what I wanna be.

If only the city where I live had some bicycle paths... I would've rode those lovely lady-bikes to school. You know, the world's getting hotter, pollutions are everywhere. Nowadays, there's this fixed-gear-fever, which is good, I think---even tho some people ride this fixie bikes just to follow the trend, and bike-to-school does sound familiar, and there are more and more people who have finally realized that bicycle is a good thing. So mayor, government, anyone who's responsible, would you please, realize this fact and build some bicycle paths?

I’ve always wanted to see the World, the whole part of it. The World’s got so many countries to visit, cool places to see, magnificent cultures to be admired, and unique languages to learn. Isn’t that amazing? I’m just a small, small girl in this big, big Earth. And in my opinion, studying abroad is the most interesting and fun way to say ‘Hi’ to the World.

Go to a beautiful country. Study there. Meet some new friends from different countries. Tell your friends about your country, and they’ll tell you the story of their countries too. See the cultures of the country. Visit cool palaces and Voila! Studies abroad, yes, just go to a foreign country and you’ll get sooo many new things to visit, see, admire, and learn.

Haha maybe the reality isn’t as simple as that but you’re with me with this one, right?

And one day my teacher told me that there’s this High School Blog Competition held by CESI (Canadian Education Services International). I have to write some posts about Canada. At first I was wondering what could I write, what’s the interesting side of Canadian education and cultures? I jumped to CESI’s site , read, did some research and in the end I thought ‘Wow! Canada will surely be a perfect country to study!’. You know why? No, no, no, the reason is not because Justin Bieber was born there. Canada has the world’s best universities -University of Toronto, McGill University, Seneca College, Sheridan College, and many many more- so how come I don’t want to study there? Plus, Canada has the most beautiful sceneries I’ve ever seen.

These facts I found here make me more interested.

Canada is selected as the number one country in the world. It’s one of the top 10 places in the world to live. Canada is also earned particularly high marks for its access to education.

Education cost in Canada is very competitive. Learning in Canada is not free, of course, but it’s affordable. This one is important, ‘cause money don’t grow into a tree.

Welcoming environment. Canada is a country of immigrants and has both tradition and policy that encourages cultural diversity. Almost all the world’s ethnic groups are represented in Canada. So we can find many different cultures here and it’s just….perfect.

Beautiful environment. Canadians place a high value on their natural environment. There are 42 national parks, located in every province and territory. Students who come to Canada will see the beauty of nature. This one is more than just perfect.

A safe place to study. Canada is famous for its community; a safe, fair, and peaceful. Canada’s crime rate continues to decline steadily since 1990. If we’re going to study abroad, our parents surely will say that safety comes first. Don’t worry Mums and Dads, Canada is safe and sound.

Two languages nation. Canada is a bilingual country with two official languages, English and French. Most French-speaking Canadians are living in the province of Quebec, located in eastern Canada. Woohoo I’ve always wanted to learn French since forever. Maybe I’ll study in Canada, learn French and then go to France with perfect French!

Sound interesting, eh? I can picture myself standing on that Maple Country. I’ll study, meet some lovely friends, and I’ll get some unforgettable experiences that I can tell to my grandchildren.

My dream is to study abroad. Raise your hand if you have the same dream like mine!

Series to Watch

Hi-Ho! Great to see you again :-D

Oh I wanted to post this since a long time ago. You know we had holiday a few months ago, and on that lovely no-school-so-say-hooray day I spent most of the time watching movies and TV series/shows/dramas/whatever it is that screened on TV. I watched many different kind of movies, from Hollywood to Bollywood. I borrowed my friend’s DVDs and did a marathon. And this habit continues, tho the holiday’s over I tried to steal some of my free time to watch something (kinda bad actually, I could’ve used those time to study or sleep :p).

Movies are great but what have been sticking in my mind lately are TV Series. The beauty of a series, it keeps you watching it over and over again and you’re not gonna stop until you see what happens in the end. The characters will stick in your mind, they will haunt you forever. Ho ho ho.

Here are some series I’ve been seeing. They’re highly recommended---by me.

Well who doesn’t love Glee? Full of great musics and teaches you how to live your Life. I shudder every time the casts sing a song. So lovable. I’m sure I don’t have to write many words cause all you got to do is just start to watch this! ;-)

At first I wasn’t interested to see this. At all. I thought this series was just like a vampire fever due to the succes of Twilight Saga. Then a friend of mine lent me the DVDs of the first season (which was first aired in 2009, and I watched it in the end of 2010. Pretty late, I know).

Watched the first episode and I was like…Eeeew Stefan and Elena is like a copy of Edward and Bella. But I decided to keep going…Yeah let’s see what this series is gonna bring us to. And it got me. Cheez I’m hardcore fan of fiction. In my dictionary, Imagination means a key to success. All those wizards, vampires, witches, werewolves, magicians, talking-animals, all those mystical-thingies are my favorite. And my, oh my, Damon Salvatore is another reason why I do keep watching Vampire Diaries.

I know this series from one of my fellas. she says that this series is a really good one and keeps telling everyone to watch it. Haha credit to @curbsidegirl. So I began to watch this and started to fall in love after some episodes.

Modern Family tells a story about a one big happy family with different kind of people, cultures, and idealisms. It shows you all the struggles and battles and wars, and funny and happy things that could possibly happen in a family. There are so many jokes you can laugh at and so many life lessons you can get. Well, families are the closest people around us so how come you don’t want to watch this?

Have seen some great Korean Dramas and this… You MUST see this one. See that picture up there? This drama tells a story about the Cutest Couple, everrr. It’s about loving someone no matter what he/she is. I did smile when the couple do some funny things. I did cry when I was watching the last episode. The story is sweet and sour, like a strawberry.

I dream high…. I can fly high….. This is the first Musical Korean Drama I’ve ever watched and I just love it! The story line is kinda surprising. There are six different people with different personalities trying to chase their dreams in this drama. And you won’t stop until you’ve seen the sixteen episodes of Dream High. Another great drama with Ultra Cute Korean boys! Yayness :-3

It will take hours or maybe days to tell you the greatness of those series up there. And it’s gonna be a really, really long post. So if you wanna know more just turn the screen on and enter the marvelous world of TV series…. Bon apetite!

I know it's wayyy too late to say this but Happy New Year!!! <:-)

New Year? Hey where have you been! January is leaving and February is coming. And you're still talking about New Year stuffs?

Haha well I really am sorry for the lack of updates in my blog. I skipped New Year, Holiday, and I almost skip January too. I just didn't have the right time to post something and I've been missing you so much, Bloggie.

So to pay my debt, leaving you guys for weeks, I'm gonna write some posts in a day. With many photos and ~~maybe~~ stories. All you need is just sit, read, and chew your gum. Now let's start with the New Year's Eve story!

I spent the New Year's Eve at one of my JHS pal, with my JHS pals. And had a really, really great time.

We spent the whole night together. First we ate some yummy foods and not long afterwards people started to play the Throw-Your-Friend-to-the-Pool game. Splashes everywhere!!!

2011 was getting closer so we burnt the fireworks. Thank God we didn't burn the house. Then New Year came! We're all saying Happy New Year to everyone and took some photos. Boys left at approximately 12 am and the girls were gonna have a slumber party. Sadly some of my girls couldn't stay longer and they have to go home.

There were seven of us who were going to stay and we're already wet. So we went back to the pool and +splash+ Woohoo yeah I swam at one o'clock in the morning! Had enough with the coldness of the water, we decided to go to sleep. Turned out we didn't go to sleep at all. Well there were one or two people who slept but most of us were just chatting, chatting and laughing. The next morning we cleaned the mess of our splashing time off and finally got some sleep.

Yes 'twas an exhausting night but it's worth the fun! The point pf New Year's Eve is not just to celebrate something or do something pointless, but we also give thanks to God 'cause after all these years, we're still able to see each other. We should have some more!

Well that was the story of mine. I would like to hear the story of yours :-D

Woohoo it feels so good to be back! I'm so sorry for being such a very bad blogger. Things on High School are kinda eating my free-time.

Now let's just go straight.

When you hear the word 'hijab', some of you might be wondering, 'what on earth is that'? Go ask Mr. Google and he'll tell you everything. Heheh but I tell you what, to me, wearing hijab isn't just a command from The Almighty, it's a gift and also a protector of the bad things. It's not, absolutely not, separating a girl from the world.

I've been wearing hijab since I was a little kid, and now when I've grown up, read some magazines and browse some sites about fashion, I knew that people who wear hijab can also be as stylish as a super model, with their hijab on their heads.

Hai hai hai semuanya! Setelah berhari-hari saya tinggalkan blog ini---yang sepertinya akan jamuran dalam beberapa jam lagi---saya kembali! Yep, saya kembali dengan bahasa Indonesia. Pak Mood bilang dia lagi pengen menggunakan bahasa Indonesia---yah, meskipun bukan yang baik dan benar. Setidaknya, komunikatif. Akhirnya saya kembali dan membawa sesuatu. Sesuatu untuk diceritakan, dan beberapa foto untuk dilihat.

Jadi, seperti yang semua orang telah ketahui, kemarin itu adalah hari Rabu, tanggal 8, bulan 9, tahun 2010. Dan kalau diurut dengan singkat akan menjadi 8-9-10. Terus, apasih yang begitu spesial? Bukankah itu cuma kebetulan aja tanggal, bulan, dan tahunnya pas berurutan?

Saya rasa banyak orang menganggap angka-angka yang berurutan, yang hanya terjadi setahun sekali seperti itu unyu dan sangat berkesan. Maka terjadilah banyak 'penembakan' pada tanggal tersebut. Dan banyak yang jadian. Banyak yang saling mengikat hati (?). Begitulah kiranya.

Tapi bukan kok, bukan. Saya bukan salah satu diantara mereka. Kemarin itu awalnya saya cuma tidur-tiduran di rumah, tweeting, dan melakukan hal-hal biasa lainnya. Gak ada yang begitu spesial sampai akhirnya saya ingat rencana liburan yang sudah saya siapkan dengan matang sejak begitu lama sehingga saking lamanya sampai saya lupa kapan saya merencanakannya.

Intinya, saya mengajak tukang ojek ini:

Untuk nganterin saya berpetualang melewati serbuan asap kendaraan dan kemacetan, menuju ibu kota kita tercinta; Jakarta.

Oh, sedikit ralat, yang diatas itu bukan tukang ojek kok. Hehe. Itu adik saya yang lebih tinggi daripada saya. Sebenernya sih saya adiknya, cuma saya lahir duluan. Oke #lupakan.

Dan berangkatlah kami; dua orang kakak beradik yang saling menyayangi (IhYuw). Alangkah baiknya langit pada saat itu karena mau repot-repot menurunkan hujan. Padahal saya sama sekali gak minta. Alhasil, sepatu kami basah kuyup, celana saya juga basah, celana adek saya juga basah.
Lesson Learnt: Jangan sekali-kali naik motor dikala hujan kalau gak mau basah.

Setelah beberapa jam yang cukup bikin pegel karena harus duduk diam di atas motor, kami sampai di Fatmawati. Oke, ini baru Fatmawati. Masih ada beberapa kilometer lagi.
Pokoknya, setelah melewati Taman Puring, deretan toko-toko, deretan mobil-mobil dan motor-motor, akhirnya kami sampai di tujuan pertama kami; Hey Folks!

Ini saya di depan Hey Folks!. Sangat bahagia karena akhirnya bisa ke sini.

Ini beberapa compact disk yang berhasil saya temukan di toko yang terletak di Jl. Bumi itu.

Ada Dear Nancy, Ballads of the Cliche sama Mocca.

Ah iya, di sebelah Hey Folks! ada LOMO Embassy yang menjual berbagai kamera analog dan aksesorisnya yang super keren. Ketika itu saya benar-benar berharap bahwa lagu 'Hujan Duit'nya Rhoma Irama bakal jadi kenyataan jadi saya bisa borong semua yang dijual di sana.

Karena hujan duit tidak kunjung datang, dan yang ada malah hujan rintik-rintik-tapi-awet, saya dan adik saya memutuskan untuk seikit berlama-lama di kedua toko tersebut. Perih juga sih, melihat semua kamera lucu itu ada di depan mata saya namun apa daya, saya gak punya duit untuk membelinya.

Agaknya mas-mas penjaga toko bosan melihat saya dan adik saya yang daritadi cuma liat-liat dan beli sedikit CD. Karena saya masih memiliki hati nurani, saya memutuskan untuk segera cabut. Namun sebelum itu, dikarenakan adik saya kurang hafal jalan di sekitar Kebayoran, saya bertanya kepada mas penjaga toko kemanakah arah menuju tempat tujuan kedua kami.

Dan setelah beberapa tikungan, beberapa lampu merah, saya memutuskan untuk bertanya lagi kepada seorang satpam, sebelum kami tersesat dan gak bisa pulang.

"Wah saya kurang tau tuh, Dek. Coba tanya sama Pak Polisi."

Tentu saja kami tidak sebodoh itu untuk bertanya sama Pak Polisi, karena itu sama saja dengan bunuh diri.

Saya rasa lebih baik saya bertanya pada orang bermotor yang kebetulan ada di sebelah saya. Pada akhirnya, kami sampai juga kok.

Yep, 7eleven

'Ini 7eleven loh!'. #superNorak

Tapi kemarin itu memang pertama kalinya saya berkunjung ke 7eleven. 8-9-10 adalah hari di mana saya pertama kali berkunjung ke 7-11. Dan semua orang juga tau kalau angka 8.9.10 itu ada di antara angka 7-11. Jadi intinya? Ya....historik aja gidu sob, bisa pas.

Semua yang diatas itu menu buka puasa saya kemarin.

Ada pudding mochi, Slurpee dan BigBite.

Gak usah diragukan lagi, semuanya super enak.

Setelah selesai makan, ternyata si adek masih laper. Jadi dia memutuskan untuk beli makanan di KFC. Namun pada akhirnya dia menyesal karena uangnya terkuras hanya untuk makanan.

Lesson Learnt: Jangan biarkan hawa nafsu mengalahkanmu dan membabat habis uangmu.

Kami solat di musholla Blok M Plaza, dan setelah itu....pulang! Fiuh akhirnya.

Kemarin itu seru dan menyenangkan. Meskipun capek juga. Dan sesak juga gara-gara banyak asap kendaraan. Walaupun sedikit hujan-hujanan, kemarin itu sangat menyenangkan.

Here I am--finally! There are many, many things I want to tell you. I got confused how to start.

Ummm...you know what? I'm fallin in love with my new school. At first, I was just like...Ah, okay, this is gonna be my new school. But after a week I suddenly change my mind into something like...Thank you so much God! I'm so happy to be here!

And yeah, the word 'school' means holiday is over. It's okay for meh, cause my holiday wasn't so great.
Thanks God there are still some things that accompanied me during the-boring-holiday.

Hi! How are you guys doing?

Uh, I finally found something to do! Thank God World Cup is finally here. I spent most of the nights watching twenty two men kicking a ball and making goals.

What's your favorite team? Mine is England but yeah, as you had known, they've kicked out from this cup after beaten by Germany. I'm not hating Germany because of this cause I love them both---I can't choose between Lampard or Schweinsteiger, they're really really cool. I hate the referee of this match. I think he's got an eye-ache or something.

After two days working with those things, I'm done and you can see my Hot Air Balloons. Acrylics on canvas. Made for the art practice exam.

So, what do you think? It's been a long time since the last time I did this thing--painting on canvas. A bit nervous at the first time I swept my brush on the canvas.

Ah, what date is it now? Can't believe it's almost May. This May, for me, means; a test in 28 shs (Gosh I really hope I could pass the test and attend this school), another test in 1 shs, announcement of the national exam scores (crossing my fingers so hard, praying everyday) and graduation day! Can't wait. I'm so curious to see what will my friends wear.

National Exam is ready for me on Monday (or we can say, tomorrow). It is ready. But am I ready? I was askin that question to myself, then I thought ready or not ready, I must be ready. National Exam is a part of my Junior High School life, a part of studying-life that I gotta face. I want to write these words below, out loud (in this case it means CAPS LOCK);

I'M READY TO FACE YOU OH NATIONAL EXAM

I'M NOT AFRAID OF YA, NOT IN A MILLION YEAR

AND HEAR THIS,

I WILL DO MY BEST AND GET THE GREAT MARKS

Woohoo!! Believe me, by sayin something that disturb your head out loud you'll fell free just like a rocket that slides up to the galaxy.

And...speakin about national exam remembers me of my last days at school. I'm definitely happy to start a new day as a Senior High School student. Or maybe I can say: Supa Exited. New friends, new school, new teachers, new lessons. We do like the new things, don't we?

But it's also hard to get what we had for years replaced. Yeah, the old things. I'm gonna miss my old friends, my old school, my old teachers, and (maybe) my old lessons. Things come and go, and change. You can't use a shoe for thousand years, and you can't stay in the same school for thousand years too.

I'm about to have new things in a few months, but the old things (things which are not like shoes that you'll throw and forget) will always stay here, right in my head.

Secret Admirer

It was a rainy, Sunday afternoon, and I was alone, sitting in a pavement cafe. There's a sheet of paper in my hand, pink colored. I found it yesterday, lying in my drawer. I read every single word written on that paper. Sweet words. At the end of the letter, written in neat handwriting, Your Secret Admirer. And as if the radio in that cafe know from whom the letter I was reading, it played a song with Secret Admirer on its lyrics. That sweet song makes me smile.

I sat in the cafe for hours, wondering who is my secret admirer. I drank a glass of Mocca (beverages that only available in this cafe, mixture of mocha and caramel) and keep thinking. Is he a tall, handsome man with two beautiful eyes that make me couldn't turn my face from those eyes, or an ordinary man, with an extra ordinary heart?

I ordered another Mocca, and imagined how great it would be if I could meet my admirer. Maybe he's not as sweet as what he wrote on his letter, but I was so sure he's a kind man. Maybe he's just to shy to tell what he feels with utterance, so he wrote this letter.

Would one day he'd be brave enough to meet me? If he would, what if it was me who was too embarrassed to see his face? What if he's not as handsome as I imagined, or what if he's a bad guy?

Oh, secret admirer, you're bothering me with your sweet words. But I'm dying to know, will I know who you really are, or will you just be a sweet secret in my whole life?

Secret Admirer is the title of one of Mocca's songs. I really love that song. Hear it!

I've been reading some books in English recently. Instead of studying.

Since I watched Sherlock Holmes movie, I fell in love with his stories. So I started to find some books of him, and fortunately I found it in my school's library. And then I also found another classic stories. I'm trying to improve my English skill so I think this isn't a really bad activity to do.

And you know what guys, I've just realized that Dye from COLOR-DYE-MODE sent me this big smile last January.

Say 'Hello' to 2010 and 'Goodbye' to 2009

Woow 2009 will be 2010 in a day. Time passed so fast! So what have I done during 2009? What happened in my life this year?

1. You know what I've lived in this world for 3/20 of the century. Yes I turned to 15 this year. I've grown older. I'm getting closer to death. And I'm trying to do all my best in every second God has given to me

2.I'm getting lazier and lazier than last year. This one is such a bad, awful thing. I'm gonna have a National Exam in a few months. I know I must study harder and erase the word 'lazy' from my head but what happened is, I'm getting lazier. I have to throw the word 'lazy' away start from now. There's no time to wait until year 2010. It's a MUST.

3. Got my new hand phone (Y)(Y)(Y)

4. Started blogging. And I know I don't start a really great one. But then I saw other people's blog and got some inspiration. And.. here I am now.

5. Think more clearer. I tried to think what's the effect of my behavior

6. Being a 9th grader. Have a Girls-Only-Class. Yeah all of my classmates are girls. And sometimes there's a conflict (You now, girls). But I studied a lot of things. And I'm getting closer to the other girls who I didn't really know when I was in the 7th and 8th class.

And manyyy more. I forgot some of them, actually, hehe. The most important thing is, I hope I can be a better person next year. Oh God, I'm so grateful with my life now, and I will be more grateful if I get a better one. And You do know what's the best for me.

For the closing of this year, here's a silly video of my lil' sister (YES that kid on the video is a girl. She wanted her hair looks like my brother so here is she with her..pixie hair, maybe? Kind of, I think) imitating Michael Jackson.

This holiday is not so long, actually. It's only a two-weeks-holiday. But I've been so bored by doing nothing at home and then I tried to imitate this photo into a picture..

But what I actually did is...

I drew this weirdo picture! Sorry for making your face looks that weird Ms. Chung.

Another thing, one night I drank a cup of coffee. And guess what? I slept at four in the morning! I tried to sleep at 2 am but I couldn't and I just rolled and rolled on my bed. I woke up in the morning and feel so sleepy. Now I realized that caffeine is not a good thing for me, even though it made me got some inspiration at that night.

I just want to make this post a quick post, so, here's the end. Sorry for this silly post. I'll be back with another one.

Have you ever seen a really great movie like this one?

I watched this movie yesterday. And even though I haven't finished watching it I'm curiously being fell in love with this fascinating movie.

Johnny Depp act in this movie as Sweeney Todd, a skilled barber who is falsely sent to charged and sentenced to a life of hard labor in Australia by the corrupt Judge Trupin. Judge Trupin did this to him because he fell in love with Sweeney Todd's wife.

And after 15 years, Sweeney Todd return to London and found that his wife has poisoned herself by arsenic.

Sweeney Todd vows revenge, reopening his barber shop where is located in a flat above Mrs. Nellie Lovett's (Played by Helena Bonham Carter. I love the way she acts!) pie shop.

I love love love this movie not only because of the story, the settings of this movie are way too cool and look at these stunning dresses!

And and you can find the world's greatest actors and actress in this movie. Like I've mentioned before, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter act here.

Also you can see Alan Rickman (he plays in Harry Potter movies as Severus Snape), Timothy Spall (you can see him in Enchanted or in Harry Potter movies as Peter Pettigrew) and Jamie Campbell Bower (if you were wondering who played Caius in New Moon movie, there he is!)

Directed by Tim Burton as well.

I don't recommend this movie for you who hates blood or thriller. I'm warning you most of the scenes in this movie are full of blood and murder.

And one more thing that makes me like this movie is; it's full of songs. Yeah it's kinda musical. A murder movie with songs. When I watched it I was feeling like watching an opera. Isn't that interesting?

I'm sunk by thousands words that Stephenie Meyer wrote on this book. I was reading it this whole day.

Okay I'm Getting Older

I was born on 6th of December 1994. And here I am now. 15 already. Getting older and getting closer to death. I'm trying to pass the rest of the time God has given me to live in this world with all my best.

Nothing special today. I only requested my sisters and my brother to create a greeting card for me. Weird, I know, requesting for a greeting card to get it. But I didn't request for any gifts from them. DIY greeting card is more than enough.

This card is from my 11 years old sister. She used English but a lil bit 'campur-campur'.

And this elmo card is from my 8 years old sister. Just so you know she's having a chickenpox right now and she's been so stinky (she hasn't washed her hair for 4 days!)

This silly card is from my brother. He said his card is the coolest one. What do you think?

And the last one is from my 7 years old sister. She made it after she saw my brother's card. That's way the concept look the same: simple.

It's My Second Home

I spend many hours in a week here. Yes. At school. Yes. I spent those hours in my classroom.

My school building is not really big--or maybe I can say that it is small, but it has many rooms. So to find my classroom you have to pass some turnings (I was a lil bit confused about the rooms when I first study here). And my classroom can be found in a corner of the third floor.

To ensure that you are entering the right class, the name of the class who belongs the room is written on a board.

This rule is only used in my classroom: you have to put your shoes off before entering the room. Me and my friend have worked hard to clean the room when we first got it so please don't ruin that.

When you enter my classroom, you will see that the desks arrangement in my class is like this:

Maybe it's different with other school. Even the other classes in my school don't have a desk arrangement like that.

I sat here today. But tomorrow I might not sit here anymore. There's something like a sit-system in my class; every morning we're gonna draw the sit position so you'll have different chair mates each day.

Can you see that board on the wall? We put our photos there and also some important announcement.

I think my class room is as comfortable as my home. I eat, play, chat, study, sleep, and even pray there. And my class mates are just like my own family. That's why I call it 'My Second Home'.

I'm so happy that UNESCO has determined BATIK as one of INDONESIAN CULTURE. Yes it's OURS. Not other countries'. So today is Batik Day! Yeaaay!

Well, my school doesn't have any uniform with Batik pattern. But me and my friend decided to wear Batik though, even no teacher ask us to wear it (actually we're just breaking the rule!).
